Relationship between metaphors and autism therapy research
How do metaphors and analogies influence research of autism therapy? Ilaria Fornacciari explored this relationship and more in her talk "Mirroring Mechanical Metaphors: Materials for an Archaeology of “Emotional Competence”, from Asperger to Robot-Assisted Autism Therapy (RAAT)" on 10th International Workshop on Historical Epistemology: Intersections of Psychological Research and Psychotherapeutic Practices. The workshop took place in March at Institut für Medizingeschichte und Wissenschaftsforschung at Universität zu Lübeck.
